Abstract:

The pwpose of this study was to identiJY whether a period of 30 min-exercise in warm water for 17 days affects cardiovascular function in men in Middle age. Fifieen warm water groups (WJ¥, 40°C) and ten neutral water groups (NW, 29°C). Were divided into. They exercised (water head - out walking) 30 minutes per day in WW and NW for 17 consecutive days respectively. Measurements: echocardiography was performed four times (day 1, day 4, day 11 and day 18) during the study. Heart rate (HR) in WW in day 18 si,5flificantly decreased, stroke volume (SV) and end diastolic volume (EDV) in WW significantly increased in day 4, day 11 and day 18. End sistolic volume (ESV), ejection fraction (EF), sistolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) did not change in each group. Blood pressure (DBP) did not change in each group. The data suggest that walking in WW reduces resting HR, but increases SV and EDV. Thus, we can conclude that WW affects cardiovascular function in men in Middle age.

Abstract:

Introduction: Acute myocardial infarction (MI) indicates irreversible myocardial injury resulting in necrosis of a significant portion of myocardium. MI is associated with high mortality. The difference between the signs of MI in each gender is unclear. The aim of this study was to describe gender-associated differences in symptom presentation after acute MI.Methods: This analytic-descriptive research was carried out on 102 patients (44 women and 58 men) with MI experience who referring in Shahid Mohamadi hospital and Abolfazl hospital, Hormozgan, Iran. Patients participating in the study were randomly selected. Individual information; the pain characteristics records, electrocardiogram and laboratory results, pain numerical rating scale, were collected. Results: The results showed that chest pain was the most common initial symptom in both men and women (92%) This is while sweating in men (74%) and dyspnea in women (61.4) as the second reported sign. No gender-related differences in other symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, dizziness, palpitations, pallor, epigastric pain, chills and weakness were observed. Conclusion: In this study in patients with MI, women had a worse-risk profile in comparison to men. No significant gender-related differences in symptoms were observed.

Abstract:

Background: Inactivity is a leading contributor to chronic health problems. Physical activity (PA) is an important element in maintaining the health and functional ability in the population and has favorable effects on lipid profile in adults. Here, we examined the effects of pedometer-based PA (step/day) in healthy Middle age men. Methods: Height, weight, body mass index (BMI), and daily oxygen consumption (VO2peak) were measured in 27 active and sedentary healthy Middle aged men (40-65 yr). Subjects wore a pedometer throughout the day for three consecutive weeks, and average steps per day (physical activity volume) were measured. Fasting serum concentrations of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoproteincholesterol (HDL-C), and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) were measured. Results: Mean of Daily steps in the Active group (AG) (12632±3957 steps/day) was significantly higher than sedentary group (SG) (5347±1631 step/day) (p<0.001). Also There was a significant difference in daily oxygen consumption in the 2 groups, with higher values found in the AG (p<0.001). TG and TC concentrations in the AG were significantly lower than SG (p<0.05). TC/HDL-C and LDL-C/HDL-C ratios in the AG were significantly lower than SG (p<0.05), whereas, HDL-C and LDL-C concentrations were not different in the two groups (p>0.05). A significant correlation was found between average steps per day and TG (-0.424, P=0.027), TC (-0.389, P=0.045), TC/HDL-C (-0.469, P=0.014), HDL-C/LDL-C (-0.390, P=0.044), and Daily Oxygen Consumption (-0.853, P=0.000).Conclusion: It seems that, healthy Middle-aged men, who have more ambulatory activity (average of 12, 500 step/day), have significantly better blood lipids' profile.

Objectives(s): Considering the significant increase in vitamin D deficiency and its role in women's health, as well as the diseases and complications caused by it, vitamin D deficiency is undoubtedly one of the most important health priorities. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of education based on the health belief model on the consumption of vitamin D supplements and its serum level on Middle-aged women visiting Ahvaz Comprehensive Health Center. Methods: This study was conducted on 70 Middle-aged women visiting health centers in Ahvaz who were facing vitamin D deficiency. The serum concentration of 25 hydroxy vitamin D of all women was measured on two occasions, upon arrival and 3 months after the end of the intervention. People were divided into two groups of 35 people (experimental and control group). Education based on the health belief model was conducted for the test group. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 26 statistical software and significance chi-square, independent and paired t tests at the level of 0. 05 significance. Results: The two groups were homogeneous in demographic variables before the intervention. The average age of the participants was 40. 2 with a standard deviation of 7. 7 years. Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in the mean scores of the health belief model constructs, supplement consumption behavior, and serum vitamin D levels between the experimental and control groups. After the educational intervention, the difference between the two groups was significant in terms of the average scores of the health belief model constructs, supplement consumption behavior and vitamin D serum level. After training, serum vitamin D concentration of the intervention group increased significantly compared to the control group. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the design and implementation of educational programs based on the health belief model can improve vitamin D supplement consumption behavior and vitamin D serum levels in Middle-aged women in the study.

Abstract:

In Persian, like many other languages, there are three voices, passive, active and Middle. In Persian, Middle voice, like passive voice, is a structure consisting of a one-place predicate. Middle verbs are morphologically active and semantically passive. The purpose of this article is to describe the properties of Middle construction in Persian and to explore the derivation of Middle as a transitive structure within the framework of the latest version of Generative Grammar.

Abstract:

Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (men-1), also known as Wermer syndrome, is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by the combined occurrence of two or more tumors (classically parathyroid, pancreatic, and pituitary). Due to the rarity of men-1 syndrome and its complexity, clinical management is difficult, and it is recommended to collaborate with a professional team including: clinical geneticist, endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, oncologist, endocrinologist, neurosurgeon, radiologist, and histopathologist. Here, a case of a young patient with men-1 syndrome is introduced, who was admitted to the Persian Gulf Martyrs Hospital in Bushehr due to hypercalcemia. The patient had a history of lipoma in childhood and currently has tumoral involvement of all three classic glands of this syndrome.

Abstract:

Introduction: Aging is also a pandemic process in living organisms, including humans, and it is a sensitive period of life that changes the different dimensions of a person's life. Psychological factors affecting physical and mental health during this period include attachment styles. The present study was therefore aimed at examining the differences in attachment styles between Middle-aged, elderly and elderly. Methods: The present research method was based on the study and comparison of the differences between the three groups. The statistical community of this study was Middle-aged (45-60 years), elderly (60-75 years) and old (75-90 years) in the cities of Tehran and Karaj, who were selected through the available sampling method and to the number of 180 statistical samples (60 Middle-aged, 60 elderlies and 60 old). These people completed the Collins-Reed attachment style questionnaire(RAAS) online and individually and analyzed the data obtained from the questionnaire based on the one-way variance analysis method. Results: The results showed that avoidance attachment among the elderly and elderly had the highest average, but the results of the variance analysis also showed that there was no significant difference between the elderly, Middle-aged and elderly in terms of attachment styles. Conclusions: So it can be concluded that over time, there is not much difference in the attachment style between Middle-aged and elderly and elderly.

Abstract:

Background and Aim: Disorders related to balance and falling are among the most important consequences of aging, which result in disturbing consequences such as bone fractures. The purpose of the present study was to determine the effect of TRX functional exercises on the balance of Middle age men. Materials and Methods: In the current quasi-experimental study, 26 elderly men (mean age ± SD; 43. 8 ± 3. 44) were randomly divided into two groups of suspended exercises (n= 13) and control group (n= 13). The static, dynamic, and functional balance were evaluated using Sharp and Romberg, Corrected Star (Y), and Berg balance scales, respectively. The experimental group performed TRX exercises for 8 weeks, 3 sessions per week for 45 minutes. To analyze the data, t-test and ANCOVA statistical methods were used in SPSS, v. 2 with p-value set at ≤ 0. 05. Results: The results of t-test showed that the balance of the experimental group in all three groups was significantly different in post-test when compared with that in the pre-test (p≤ 0. 05). In addition, the results of ANCOVA showed that performing TRX exercise significantly improved the balance in the experimental group as compared with the control group (p≤ 0. 05). Conclusion: Since balance is a feature that is influenced by several factors, doing TRX exercises can well cover these capabilities and improve the balance of Middle age men. Therefore, in order to prevent disorders related to balance and falling, it is recommended that these individuals take the benefits of functional TRX exercises during Middle ages.
